Our weeknight test

• Frozen fries (1 lb): time to golden, and how evenly the batch browns
• Chicken wings (2 lbs): skin crispness and internal temp at the recommended time
• Salmon fillets: does it cook through without drying the edges?
• Noise: measured with a decibel meter at arm's length
• Cleanup: timed by hand, then 10 dishwasher cycles to check the coating
